Proposed Projects


The Village of Boonville was selected by the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council to receive a $4.5 million award from New York State Governor Kathy Hochul through the NY Forward program. Investment from this program will allow Boonville to develop a Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and implement key catalytic projects to advance the community’s vision for downtown improvements.


Projects Proposed for NY Forward Funding

The following projects have been selected by the Local Planning Committee (LPC) for inclusion in the Village of Boonville’s Strategic Investment Plan. These projects total $6,889,000 in NY Forward funding requests and will be reviewed by New York State. Project awards will be announced in 2025.

  • Rebuild the Historic Slim’s Diner ($840,000 NY Forward Request)
